Potential Mechanism of Colchicine against COVID-19 and Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer based on Network Pharmacology and Bioinformatics Analysis

Colchicine is an alkaloid with antitumor effect isolated from Colchicum autumnale plants, it has been reported in multiple studies as a potential treatment for coronavirus disease-19 and this study applied network pharmacology bioinformatics analysis to explore the mechanism of colchicine against non-small cell lung cancer disease-19. The R software was used determine differentially expressed genes cancer/coronavirus disease-19, carry out prognostic clinical genes, targets were obtained various databases, protein-protein interaction intersection constructed, enrichment gene ontology kyoto encyclopedia genomes pathways performed by Metascape database molecular docking dynamics simulation completed. We total 716 identified 13 associated characterization patients. C-C motif chemokine ligand 2, toll like receptor 4, intercellular adhesion molecule 1, peroxisome proliferator activated gamma, interleukin 17A, interferon angiotensin I converting enzyme, fos proto-oncogene, nuclear factor kappa B inhibitor alpha, TIMP metallopeptidase 1 secreted phosphoprotein core targets. mainly enriched biological processes such inflammatory response, response cytokine lipopolysaccharide, well signal 17 signaling pathway, hypoxia inducible pathway nucleotide binding oligomerization domain-like pathway. results showed that better combined Analysis protein form stabilizing effect. Based on pharmacology, we biomarkers may be prognosis patients revealed play role regulating participating processes.
